Presidential Inauguration at McAlister Auditorium – 2 p.m.

The formal ceremony will inaugurate Michael Fitts as the fifteenth president of Tulane University.

Inauguration Celebration – 3:30-5 p.m.

Following the ceremony, a party will be held on the LBC Quad. Everyone is welcome.

 

 

MEET THE PRESIDENT

Michael A. Fitts began his appointment as president of Tulane University on July 7, 2014. Before arriving at Tulane, President Fitts served 14 years as dean of the Law School at the University of Pennsylvania, where he was recognized for greatly boosting that school's offerings in interdisciplinary education.
